Acknowledging the WFU HPC Facility

The WFU HPC Facility is a centralized research computing environment for the entire WFU campus. It includes the DEAC Cluster and other HPC systems, and provides stable, robust, and accessible resources used across many educational, research, and outreach activities. Referencing the facility in your published works is essential for its continued support and operation.

When submitting a publication that includes any research or results that were carried out on the facility using the DEAC Cluster (or any other WFU HPC resource), you must acknowledge the facility in the two ways listed below. Once your publication has been accepted, please send us the DOI and other relevant information to deac-help@wfu.edu.

1. Cite the Facility and DOI

The WFU HPC Facility has the following unique DOI: 10.57682/G13Z-2362. Please cite the facility and include the DOI so that we can track citations. An example citation could look like this:

Information Systems and Wake Forest University. WFU High Performance Computing Facility, 2021.
URL https://doi.org/10.57682/g13z-2362.

2. Include Acknowledgement Text

Besides citing the facility, you should include the following text, exactly as shown below, in the Acknowledgment section of your publication or manuscript:
